Pop singer Ciara and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson are ready life as a newly expanded family of five. Ciara and Wilson share 6-year-old Future Zahir (her child with her ex, rapper Future), 3-year-old Sienna Wilson, and the newest member of the Wilson family, Win Harrison Wilson, born on Thursday, July 23.
After Russell Wilson and Ciara announced that they were expecting in January, they spent their time preparing for Win’s birth, which was different than usual due to the coronavirus pandemic. Even Future Zahir and Sienna geared up in anticipation of their new brother’s birth. “Sienna’s been practicing doing the diapers on her baby doll, and Future says he’s going to teach him a lot of stuff,” Ciara said during an interview with PEOPLE the day before Win was born. “I find them playing in the baby’s room like it’s their own. It’s really sweet.”
Ciara and Russell Wilson both took to social media to announce their son’s birth, posting pictures and writing on their respective Instagram accounts: “Happy Birthday WIN!!! Mommy & Daddy Love You! Win Harrison Wilson. 7.23.2020. 8lbs 1 oz. ❤️ 👶🏽.” They brought Win home on Saturday, July 25, marking the occasion with large balloons that read “Welcome Home Win,” and even a giant teddy bear. Ciara posted the photos on Instagram, captioning the post: “Welcome Home Win 💙.”
Now the power couple has three children to take care of at home while they wait out the coronavirus, but Ciara says its no problem at all. “There’s definitely going to be a lot of learning to do because every day is a new day in this era. But I think as a parent, once you have two, any more after that it’s like you’re ready. A baby has so many milestones and there’s so much to look forward to,” says Ciara. “It’s a house full of love.”
