Singer Monica had nothing but positive vibes for her children’s fathers this past Father’s Day. The T.I. and Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle star took to Instagram on Sunday (June 21) to give Shannon Brown and Rodney “Rocko” Hill Sr. well wishes on their special day.

“Happy Fathers Day, Shannon,” Monica wrote to her daughter’s father. “Laiyah does not play about you,” the celebrity mom said. “I admire your love for Laiyah on so many levels! I would never allow your presence and purpose in her life to be diminished in any way! As her Mom, I thank you for always letting her know she’ll always have you to run to! Many Blessings on this day and each that follows!”

Monica also had positive thoughts for her sons’ father, Rodney “Rocko” Hill Jr., on Sunday. “There have been peaks and valleys, but I’m proud of us in (sic) this very moment,” the celebrity mom said. “Our boys need you and all I will ever ask is that you keep your promise to give them the father you didn’t have,” Monica wrote to her sons’ father. “Teach them your resilience, business savvy, and no-nonsense policy out there in that world!”

Monica finalized her divorce from Shannon Brown last year after nearly 10 years of marriage to the star athlete. Laiyah is the celebrity mom’s only child with her ex-husband. Monica and Rodney Hill Sr. parent two sons, Romelo and Rodney Jr., together.
