As a father of three, rapper Ludacris knows how deadly the coronavirus can be to children, so together with his own kids, they launched a new site called KidNation, a media platform that educates children on staying clean during the coronavirus pandemic.
Now it is common knowledge that hand-washing is an effective coronavirus prevention method, so Ludacris created KidNation, which is billed as “a fun, safe, and educational media platform for kids” that promotes hand-washing and other hygienic habits that children should follow to protect themselves. “The best way to protect yourself against COVID-19 is to wash your hands,” says Ludacris. “It’s also the best way to prevent the spread of COVID-19.”
Ludacris is not alone in promoting KidNation, he has his adorable daughters, 6-year-old Cai Bella and 4-year-old Cadence Bridges to help (he also has an 18-year-old daughter Karma Bridges). On KidNation’s Instagram page, Ludacris and his daughters are featured in many posts promoting KidNation and encouraging people to stay clean. One post contains a short music video that features Ludacris and his girls dancing while they wash their hands. The caption reads: “We know some of you are gathering with friends and family this #MemorialDayWeekend, please continue to #StayClean 🧼and stay safe! #StayCleanChallenge #StayClean #kidnation 📢.”
Another post shows a video of Ludacris and Cai Bella encouraging parents and kids to submit videos on how they stay clean. The post is captioned: “This is a MOVEMENT! For all the parents and KIDS, we want you to stay safe and healthy! If you want to have your kids featured, have them dance to #StayClean 🧼, tell us why you wash your hands, salute our soldiers for Memorial Day, or just a positive message, tag @KidNation or submit on KidNation.com NOW! @ludacris.”
“We want you to stay safe, we want you to stay healthy, and we’re trying to do it in a very positive and entertaining way,” says Ludacris.
