TAMRON HALL SAYS HER SON IS ‘BLACK MOSES’

"Named After Isaac Hayes, Not The Biblical Moses"

Tamron Hall may have taken from the Biblical character of Moses last October to give her son, Moses Greener, a fabulous Halloween costume. The talk show host did not, however, have the Biblical version of Moses in mind when she named her little one.

“My son is Black Moses, and then Isaac Hayes, and then you,” Tamron said during an interview with Anthony Anderson on The Tamron Hall Show. Hall was commenting on Anderson’s beard, which was thick and full thanks to the current quarantine.

“[My son] is named after Isaac Hayes, not the Biblical Moses,” Tamron Hall reiterated. Isaac Hayes got the title of “Black Moses” after releasing his fifth studio album, which was named in the same fashion.

Many assumed that baby Moses Greener was named after the Biblical version of Moses after Tamron Hall brought her son on her talk show dressed in ancient attire and having tablets that indicated the Ten Commandments. The celebrity mom removed all questions during her interview with Anthony Anderson. “My son is Black Moses,” she declared.

Tamron Hall and her husband, Steve Greener, welcomed their son on April 25, 2019. “[Parenting] has been a wonderful, magical experience,” the celebrity mom shared during an interview last year.

“It’s also harder than anything I’ve ever done,” Tamron admitted. “Not because of the diaper changes and what products to use. That I can figure out. It’s that you have someone’s life in your hands. That’s what’s so hard.”
