Future Zahir, son of pop singer Ciara and stepson to her NFL quarterback husband Russell Wilson, celebrated his sixth birthday on May 19. Ciara and Russell went all out in celebrating Future Zahir’s special day, transforming their backyard into an obstacle course.
Ciara, Russell Wilson and even Future Zahir’s biological father, rapper Future, all sent Future Zahir birthday wishes through social media, but those were just the beginning of Future Zahir’s fun-filled birthday celebration. Despite being home quarantined, Ciara and Russell spared no expense in throwing Future Zahir an extraordinary birthday party and shared photos and videos of the event on their Instagram Stories.
In addition to the obstacle course, their backyard contained plenty of balloons and even large white letters that spelled “Future.” Ciara and Russell didn’t stop with the decorations; they also had a variety of games and activities to keep Future Zahir entertained on his sixth birthday.
Future Zahir, who rocked a birthday crown and a gold chain, first defeated his parents in Beyblade battles, a spinning tops game. He then showed off his skills in the bottle-flipping game Bottle Bullseye. Future Zahir, along with Ciara, Russell and their 3-year-old daughter Sienna Wilson then played dodgeball, which they took to the next level by wearing bubble suits.
The party continued indoors, where Future Zahir and his family enjoyed plenty of snacks and refreshments which included hamburgers, corn dogs and virgin Strawberry Daiquiris. For dessert, they dined on s’mores, which paired well with the indoor camping setup in their living room, which was complete with tents, a fake fire and string lights that resembled stars. Such an extravagant birthday party wouldn’t be complete without a cake, so Ciara and Russell presented Future Zahir with a two-tier Nerf and Beyblade-themed cake.
Ciara, who is pregnant with a baby boy and expecting him this summer, recently shared a photo of the family posing together in front of Future Zahir’s white letters on Instagram. She captioned the post: “Counting The Blessings. Grateful for Joy. Good ol Quarantine Obstacle Course and Indoor Camping Birthday for The Birthday Boy. 🎂 🎁 #Grateful.”
