Jennifer Hudson and John Legend gave a stellar performance of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast during Sunday night’s Disney Family Singalong on ABC. Jennifer did not deliver the incredibly moving performance, however, without the help of her son, David Otunga Jr.
Little Davis was behind-the-scenes ensuring that his mom’s attire, which was a beautiful purple gown, was perfection. Jennifer shared a clip of her son tying one of the ribbons on the dress moments before virtually joining John Legend to sing. “Leave me a little neckline,” Jennifer told her son in the clip. “He likes to get me together,” the celebrity mom told her Instagram fans.
“Love it and that closet,” one fan commented after seeing the cute segment between Jennifer and her son. “Can’t wait for your performance,” another social media follower said.
Jennifer Hudson and John Legend’s performance of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ was less than three minutes in length. Sill, the Grammy-award-winning artists’ vocals and passion behind the song were so powerful that many viewers were left in utter amazement.
“That was incredible,” one Twitter fan exclaimed after watching Jennifer Hudson and John Legend perform. “Still shaking, the social media follower tweeted. Another viewer wrote, “I swear … Jennifer Hudson and John Legend were meant to sing Disney songs.”
