Brooke Valentine and her husband, Marcus Black, celebrated their daughter’s first birthday this past weekend. Brooke’s son, London, shared pictures from the party.
“Happy Birthday,” Brooke’s son captioned underneath a series of pictures that gave fans a snippet of what he and the family did to commemorate his little sister’s birthday.
Marcus Black shared the news of his family’s expansion in a Mother’s Day tribute to Brooke Valentine last year. “I went back and forth all day on whether or not I was going to post this but I mean … it’s Mother’s Day, babe,” Marcus shared. “I just can’t let the day end without publicly thanking you for our princess,” the celebrity father wrote to his wife. “I thank God for you and I’m excited about this new journey.”

Brooke Valentine and Marcus Black were in the process of establishing their family during the fourth season of Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood (LHHH). She was ready to move forward with the relationship. He, however, took his time with finalizing his divorce. Brooke and Marcus ultimately worked things out and now have a daughter named Summer together.

“Through all the ups and downs, high-risk appointments, hospital stays, and life’s uncertainties you stayed solid,” Marcus wrote to his wife in a sweet Instagram post last year. “You’ve always been ten toes down,” the celebrity father added. “I never had to question where you stood in my life. My plan is to multiply your investment in my purpose.”
