Kehlani is proud to be a mother. The ‘Night Like This’ singer took to Instagram this past weekend to celebrate her baby girl, Adeya Nomi Parrish Young-White.

“From birthing at home standing up in the shower, to chasing this one around the backyard, motherhood has been the most beautiful blessing,” Kehlani wrote online. “It’s hard,” the celebrity mom admitted. “Becoming a mother made me have even more respect for my mother, my grandmother, single mamas, working mamas, EVERY KIND OF MOM.”

Kehlani went on to tell her Instagram fans, “It’s harder than anyone explains it to be, and more beautiful as well because there will never be words that amount. this little spirit came in and changed my world, changed my life forever. every day I am a student, and right when I feel like I’m about to graduate to the next grade she whoop my head and say NOPE, you’re getting ahead of yourself buddy.”
