Kandi Burruss is one proud mom. The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) star took to Instagram this past weekend to celebrate her oldest daughter’s high school graduation.

“Today was the day my baby @rileyburruss was supposed get her diploma,” Kandi told her social media fans on Saturday (March 9). “Unfortunately because of the quarantine the graduation has been postponed,” the RHOA star revealed.
“But I still want to congratulate my baby and let her know I am so proud of her,” Kandi continued. “This is the start of a new chapter and so many more major accomplishments to come. Congratulations @rileyburruss and the class of 2020!”
Riley Burruss shared the exciting news of her acceptance to New York University (NYU) a few months back. “I got into my #1 school,” Riley told her social media fans. “I am so proud to share with you all that I will be moving forward in New York at #nyu,” the teen added.
The coronavirus pandemic has led to schools across the nation holding virtual classes and postponing graduation ceremonies until further notice. Still, Kandi Burruss and the family took the time to commemorate Riley’s accomplishment during Mother’s Day weekend.

“Today is mommy day but I’m still thinking about yesterday when we celebrated @rileyburruss being an official high school graduate,” Kandi wrote online on Sunday (May 10). “Thank you to my family and friends who came to show love,” the RHOA star said.
