Kimora Lee Simmons had a delightful birthday party while quarantined this past weekend. The celebrity mom’s kids gave her flowers, balloons, and a cake.
There were lots of balloons at Kimora’s home party. All five of the fashion mogul’s kids designed an arch made of balloons that was placed behind lettered balloons that read, “Happy Birthday Mommy.” Kimora also had a customized cake and red roses especially crafted just for her.
“Thank you all for all of my sweet birthday wishes, flowers, Zoom call, gifts and love, “Kimora wrote online after the festivities convened. “Especially my family, friends and crazy kids,” the celebrity mom exclaimed. “[I] can’t tell you all how much you mean to me! Best quarantine birthday ever.”
Kimora Lee Simmons has four biological children and one son, named Gary, whom she adopted last year. The fashion mogul’s youngest daughter, Aoki Lee Simmons, was the second to leave the nest after graduating from high school and accepting admission to Harvard University.
“I’m still crying and beaming,” Kimora said of her daughter’s accomplishment. “You don’t understand this has been a ride for me,” the celebrity mom explained. “I’m two out of two kids in college. I have two boys left, I don’t know if I can do it. … Quite honestly she really did it on her own merit and we’re so really proud.”
Aoki Lee Simmons has been at home taking classes online because of Harvard’s closed campus because of the coronavirus pandemic. The young adult continues to make waves with her sister, Ming Lee Simmons, as the two rebuild their mom’s former company, Baby Phat.
