Reality television star Kim Kardashian West and her four kids are featured in the special June/July issue of Vogue. In a portfolio titled “Postcards From Home: Creativity in a Time of Crisis”, the piece has people around the world discussing their lives during their coronavirus quarantines and it features over 100 contributors, including Kim Kardashian West, her famous half-sister Kendall Jenner, playwright Lin-Manuel Miranda, pop singer Lizzo, and fashion mogul Donatella Versace.
Kim Kardashian shares four children with her husband, rapper Kanye West: 6-year-old North, 4-year-old Saint, 2-year-old Chicago and 10-month-old Psalm West. For her contribution to the portfolio, Kim gathered all her children for a few adorable family photos in their pajamas and shared how her family spends their quarantine time.
“We’re in the theater room. That’s the place that has gotten the most use lately,” says Kardashian West. “The whole family has spent the last few nights in there after the kids made it into a fort, with, like, different beds all over the floor. My daughter is the fort police. If you move out of your bed that she designated for you, it’s a problem.”
Along with watching movies, Kim Kardashian spends much of her quarantine time home-schooling her four kids, a task so challenging it gave her a newfound respect for teachers everywhere. “So to be the teacher to four young kids — well, two are in school, so two — is insanity. I’m, like, hiding from them. And then they have to stop for P.E., go run up and down in the backyard, or they do this Pokémon yoga,” says Kardashian West. “Being their teacher, too — my newfound respect for teachers! They deserve so much. It’s been tough juggling it all. You really have to put yourself on the back burner and just focus on the kids.”
