On April 18, Vanessa Bryant, wife of the late NBA great Kobe Bryant, shared a cute Instagram video of their 17-year-old daughter Natalia dancing with two of her cousins, but her 3-year-old daughter Bianka Bryant was the star of the show.
In the video, Natalia and her cousins are dancing to the song “We Rock” from the 2008 Disney film Camp Rock, when young Bianka, wearing a Muppets-themed Los Angeles Lakers shirt, hilariously jumps in front of the camera and starts dancing, smiling at the camera the whole time. Natalia and her cousins stand back in disbelief and laugh, amused by Bianka’s adorable moves. Vanessa captioned the video: “Little sister. Bianka Bella ❤️BB Kiddo 😊@nataliabryant #family #cousins.”

The past weekend was a very emotional one for the Bryant family. Bianka and Natalia’s late sister, 13-year-old Gianna Bryant, along with her late teammates Alyssa Altobelli and Payton Chester, were selected as honorary draftees during the 2020 WNBA draft on Friday, April 17. The following day, Vanessa had to celebrate what would have been her 19th wedding anniversary without her husband Kobe.
On January 26, Gianna and Kobe Bryant, along with Alyssa Altobelli and her parents John and Keri, Payton Chester and her mother Sarah, Christina Mauser and pilot Ara Zobayan were tragically killed in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. Gianna, Alyssa and Payton were all 13-years-old when they passed and Kobe was 41. Kobe is survived by his wife, Vanessa Bryant and their three remaining daughters, Natalia, Bianka, and 10-month-old Capri Bryant.

In a video message the WNBA shared, Vanessa Bryant thanked the WNBA for honoring her daughter. “Thank you so much for honoring my Gigi and selecting her to be an honorary draft pick this year. It would have been a dream come true for her. She worked tirelessly every single day. She wanted to be one of the greatest athletes of all time just like her daddy. So thank you, thank you for honoring my little girl. Kobe and Gigi loved the WNBA,” Vanessa said before congratulating this year’s draft picks. “Work hard. Never settle. Use that Mamba mentality.”
