Apryl Jones has been the target of mommy shamers during this quarantine. First, fans scrutinized the celebrity mom for letting her son, Megaa Grandberry, do her makeup. Now, critics are dragging Apryl for a recent Instagram video that shows her dancing inappropriately near her son.

In the video, Megaa schooled his mom and her friend on how to do the latest TikTok challenge, which involves creating moves for ‘Out West’ by Jackboys and Young Thug.
Apryl did well with the training until she decided to lift her leg at the end of the clip. Critics were quick to comment on the celebrity mom’s actions, which were deemed especially inappropriate given Apryl’s attire, she was wearing a gown that did not shield her private parts well, and Megaa’s presence.
“That ending, though,” one social media viewer noted. “Messed up the whole video,” the critic said. Another fan wrote, “Girl. Now why would you lift your leg up like that?” Apryl ultimately removed the video and posted a clip of her kids dancing to a scene in Breakin’ (1984).

“In this time, me (sic) and my family have been able to spend time doing what we love,” Apryl captioned underneath the video of Megaa with his younger sister, A’mei Grandberry. “[We have been] dancing and expressing ourselves through art,” Jones said. “I live for these kiddos,” the celebrity mom exclaimed. “They brighten my days and I hope this can pour a little love and light into yours.”
