It all started when Gabrielle and Dwyane introduced Kaavia to New Edition. The youngster’s parents were feeling every word of the song. Kaavia, however, wasn’t into the music. Shady Baby attempted to escape the moment via her mom’s smartphone. Gabrielle, however, prevented such a thing from happening.

It was then that Kaavia James had a complete meltdown that was caught on camera. “Happy Easter,” Gabrielle Union told her social media fans. “@kaaviajames is not happy we cut her off from electronics,” Union said. “She’s downright irate at this toddler injustice. Irate I say. Trying to enjoy it all.”

The Instagram post of Gabrielle smiling through her daughter’s meltdown made the actress’ fans laugh. “This stage is so fun,” Candace Parker shared. “But you love them,” the WNBA star continued, “and they are so cute.” Shady Baby is so cute, isn’t she?

Gabrielle Union recently shared how she adjusted to Kaavia crying when Shady Baby was an infant. “Kaavia went through a phase of not napping,” Gabrielle told Parents. “I was like, ‘When do I shower or pee or live?’ So I had to get a little comfortable with her crying, which I had not been. And then I took the quickest shower of all time!”

Gabrielle continues to evolve as a mom while Kaavia James continues to rule the day. Stay tuned for more Shady Baby news!
