While Hollywood paused to pay homage to Nipsey Hussle on the anniversary of his death, the late rapper’s daughter, Emani Asghedom, was stuck outside of her home. The 11-year-old took to Instagram Live with the heartbreaking news of her mom, Tanisha Foster, locking her out of the house on Tuesday (March 31).
“She said I can’t come back in until they’re finished cleaning up and they take the longest time to clean up,” Emani told her social media fans. “I tried going to my grandpa’s house,” the youngster said. “His car is in the front, [but] he’s not answering the door. And so now I’m stuck outside.”
Emani admitted that she was stressed and had shed a few tears over the incident. “It’s freaking hot out here and I can’t go back inside my mother’s house,” the youngster told her fans. “It’s the freaking day of my father’s death,” Emani added. “March 31, 2019, he died. And then they’re just screaming at me and doing all that sort of stuff.” The 11-year-old concluded her rant by saying, “Life isn’t perfect.”

Tanisha Foster and Nipsey Hussle were in a relationship during their younger years that ultimately led to them welcoming their daughter. Nipsey and Tanisha, of course, ended their courtship and he later met Lauren London. Still, the late rapper kept the lines of co-parenting open while maintaining full physical custody of his daughter.
Tanisha fought Nipsey’s sister, Samantha Smith, for full custody of Emani after Nipsey’s death. The 11-year-old has resided with her mother these past few months while spending quality time with her aunt on occasion.
Tanisha Foster is active on her social media platforms. She has yet to respond to her daughter’s Instagram Live post. Stay tuned for more Nipsey Hussle news!
