Tory Lanez’ upcoming The New Toronto 3 mixtape is slated to be released on April 10th. The Canadian rapper took to Instagram earlier today to share the album’s release date as well a cover art featuring his son.
Last week, Lanez dropped song “W” from the mixtape along with the single’s cover art. “ONE OF MY REALEST VERSES . and yes that’s my son on the cover THUGGIN ! Lol”
Tory welcomed his son,Kai, on April 12th, which coincidentally was the same day he was arrested on some minor charges.

“What’s special about him [and] what a lot of people don’t know [is that] the day my son was born was the day I got locked,” explained Lanez. “April 12th. I was coming out of the hospital, I was leaving the parking lot, I didn’t even get out of the parking lot […] But that’s something special about the day he was born. I’ll always remember it,” Tory told Hot New Hip Hop in 2017.
He also shared that he was on good terms with his child’s mother. “Yeah, I’m on good terms with every girl who’s ever been in my life,” he said. “But my baby moms I’m never on no bad terms. I’m not one of those child support … you know, situations. We’ve got a good understanding of what’s going on.”
