Model Blac Chyna called on the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) to investigate her ex-fiancé, television personality Rob Kardashian, after finding that their three-year-old daughter Dream Kardashian had been burned on two separate occasions while in Rob’s custody.
The first incident happened late in February, when Dream allegedly received a first-degree burn on her leg at Rob’s home, which led to Blac Chyna to seek medical care for her daughter. Blac Chyna’s attorney, Lynne Ciani said in a statement: “Rob admitted that Dream had received the severe burn at his home and promised it would never happen again. Chyna immediately sought out and obtained appropriate medical treatment for Dream’s burn.”
Apparently Rob did not keep his promise, since on March 21; Blac Chyna discovered another severe burn on Dream’s leg when her daughter came to visit. “Chyna was shocked and extremely upset to discover that Dream had suffered a second severe burn very near the first burn on her leg,” Ciani says. “When Chyna reached out to Rob to find out what had happened to their daughter, Rob initially lied to Chyna and denied that Dream’s second burn happened at his home. Rob then changed his story and had his nanny send a text message admitting that Dream received the second burn at Rob’s house from a hot light bulb.” After that, Blac Chyna called in the police and the DCFS to investigate the circumstances surrounding Dream’s burns.
In response, Rob removed the nanny in question from her employment at his home and fired back at Blac Chyna; saying that Dream’s safety is his “top priority” and claiming that she is trying to slander him to receive full legal custody of their daughter. In a statement, Rob’s attorney Marty Singer said: “Rob treated Dream appropriately and Chyna was informed. Following an investigation by the DCFS and the police in which Rob fully cooperated, he has every reason to believe that there will be no findings of any safety issues in his home.”
“It is unfortunate that Chyna feels the need to publicly miscommunicate the situation and has once again wasted valuable public resources by calling first responders in a desperate attempt to smear Rob’s name in response to his ongoing lawsuit against her for full custody of their daughter.” As a matter of fact, Rob and his attorney question Dream’s safety in Blac Chyna’s care, noting that “third parties” have previously called the DCFS to Blac Chyna’s home over her treatment of Dream and that “within the last month, Dream has arrived to Rob from Chyna with many unexplained injuries including rashes, cuts, bruises and a dislocated arm.”
Since their split in 2017, Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna have shared joint legal custody of Dream, but the former couple has been battling in court for full custody.
