Serena Williams has been social distancing for almost two weeks because of the coronavirus pandemic and everything little thing makes her “crazy.” The celebrity mom recently gave her daughter, Alexis Olympia, the “side-eye” for coughing.
“I’ve been social distancing for actually a really long time,” Serena told her social media fans earlier this week. The tennis champion went on to tell her followers that it has been about “two weeks” since she decided to self-isolate. “Every little thing makes me crazy,” Serena said.
One incident, in particular, that made the celebrity mom nervous involved Serena’s daughter. “She coughed, I got angry and gave her a side-eye,” Williams admitted. “I gave her that ‘angry Serena’ and then I got sad. I was like: ‘Is she OK? Is there something wrong with my daughter? Is there anything I can do?’ I just don’t know what to do, so instead of being relaxed, I’m really under a ton of stress.”
Serena Williams told her fans that she would remain at her home after President Trump’s coronavirus update last week. The president announced partnerships with Wal-Mart, Walgreens and other retailers to provide COVID-19 testing to Americans who are sick. Implementing plans, however, has been challenging with things appearing to change by the hour.
“This is serious,” Serena Williams told her Instagram fans last Friday. “Spending the next 6 weeks in solitude,” she added.
