"He Was Born In, Not Sworn In"

G Herbo brought his son, Yosohn Santana, onstage for a night to remember during his PTSD Tour at the Tabernacle in Atlanta, Georgia, this past Wednesday (March 11). Yosohn was ready to turn the place out alongside his father who smiled the moment his son took charge of the crowd.

“He was born in, not sworn in,” G Herbo told his Instagram fans while sharing a video clip of his son onstage. Yosohn was not intimidated by the masses who came to see his father in concert. The 1-year-old walked into the spotlight and eventually took the microphone from his father to spit a few rhymes of his own.

“He’s holding that mic like a grown man,” one fan said of the confidence that G Herbo’s son exuded. Another of the Chicago rapper’s social media followers wrote, “He didn’t want to let that [microphone] go.” Yosohn may have found his place as an entertainer!

G Herbo welcomed his son on April 12, 2018, with his then-fiancee Ariana Fletcher. The rapper’s romance with his son’s mother did not last. The love that both G Herbo and Ariana have for their son, however, is endless.

“People say when you have kids they change your life,” G Herbo said of his role as a father during a 2018 interview with XXL. “It’ll really go over your head until you have one of your own,” the rapper shared.

“That’s a life that I brought into the world and somebody that is always gonna depend on me. I’m their protector, their caretaker. That’s my full responsibility and I act off of that. This is my firstborn, so I’m just excited.”
