Michael Strahan is asking for full custody of his daughters, Sophia and Isabella, after accusing his ex, Jean Muggli, of child abuse. The Good Morning America (GMA) co-host filed documents with the court earlier this week.
According to TMZ,
“Michael claims Jean’s been engaging in a “pattern of abusive conduct towards the children for years” … he claims he’s got proof of the physical and emotional abuse and says he’s gonna detail it in sealed docs.”
Michael accuses his ex-wife of failing to take their daughters to court-ordered therapy sessions. The celebrity dad also claims that his children’s mother is the reason why they keep missing their volleyball game competitions.
Strahan is presently seeking primary custody of his daughters, which would allow him to move them to New York with him. Sophia and Isabella currently reside in North Carolina with their mom and visit their father as ordered by the court. Strahan hopes to obtain a new order that allows his ex-wife to have visitation rights.

This is not the first time that Michael Strahan and Jean Muggli have endured public battles in terms of family and child custody. In fact, it was just last year that Muggli asked for an increase in child support payments. Strahan was paying $18,000 per month at the time.
A judge has yet to hear the current case between Michael Strahan and his ex. Stay tuned for more celebrity child custody news!
