Lil Scrappy’s pregnant wife, Bambi, is still breastfeeding their 17-month-old son, Breland. The celebrity mom took to Instagram to share how she nurtures her son. Of course, the trolls came out to criticize Bambi for nursing her son beyond the 1-year-old mark.
“Yes, I’m still nursing a 17-month-old and it’s not fun,” Bambi told her Instagram fans. Some of the expectant mom’s social media followers loved the idea of Bambi breastfeeding her son beyond his first six to 12 months. Others, who may not understand the significant bond that comes with breastfeeding kids, were quick to tell Bambi to stop nursing her son.
“Girl, stop that [stuff],” one fan demanded the celebrity mom. “You ain’t white,” the social media follower added. “It’s time BAM, for real.” Another critic wrote, “Tell him, ‘That’s your brother/sister’s milk.’ You from the hood. You know that [stuff] looks crazy. Quit playing.” Bambi responded to the scrutiny by writing, “Ignorance of this magnitude is unbelievable.”
Bambi and Lil Scrappy announced their expectancy of another child a few weeks ago. Some thought that Bambi was expecting twins after a social media post by Lil Scrappy referenced “babies.” The expectant mom, however, quickly intervened to further clarify that she and Scrappy were only expecting one child to arrive in the coming months.
Lil Scrappy and Bambi celebrated their son’s first birthday last September. The couple’s second child will arrive just in time for the holiday season this year. Stay tuned for more celebrity family news!
