Kobe and his daughter, Gianna, and seven others died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California on January, 26, 2020. Upon hearing the devastating news, Sharia and Shaya paid a visit to their parents, Joe and Pam Bryant, who live in Las Vegas.
“It’s a sensitive time. I can’t even imagine what they’re going through. They are lovely, kind, decent people,” a neighbor, who wanted to remain anonymous, told Extra Tv.
The neighbor added that Kobe’s parents are completely distraught. “I talked to them twice yesterday and took over food and a card, and briefly today. They are just devastated, as you can imagine. It’s a private, awful moment, losing their son and granddaughter; it’s just horrific. I was talking to Joe briefly the day before, we were out for a walk, it was all happy and good and talking about the gorgeous weather, and then it switched in 24 hours where their lives were turned upside down.”
Bryant,41, was the youngest of his siblings. Sharia, 43, and Shaya, 42, both currently live in Las Vegas. Sharia has two daughters and one son, while Shaya has one daughter and two sons.
