CONFIRMED: KIMORA LEE SIMMONS ADOPTS 10-YEAR-OLD SON

A few weeks ago, we reported that Kimora Lee Simmons has adopted a 10-year-old son named Gary. Last week, the fashion mogul confirmed that she and her husband, Tim Leissner, have indeed added to their family.

The pair, married in 2014, already have a four-year-old son together named Wolf.

Gary joins a host of other brothers and sisters, in addition to Wolf, which include Kenzo, 10, who she shares with ex Djimon Hounsou, and two daughters, Aoki and Ming, ages 17 and 20, from her previous marriage to Russell Simmons.

The family’s new addition comes along just as the new mom is back in the professional limelight with her brand Baby Phat returning to the fashion scene. The popular line from the ’00’s, has returned with a capsule collection featuring 16 items, with daughters Ming and Aoki becoming the faces of the brand.

“Here we are again, 20 years later in 2019, and now [my daughters] are with me taking the reins,” Simmons said in an interview with InStyle about the relaunch. “This is a woman-owned company, run by me and my daughters. I’ve been in fashion for 30 years. But now it’s about passing the torch from one to the next.”

Congratulations to the happy couple on their new addition to the family and congratulations to Simmons on her long-awaited relaunch of a brand that defined the style of a generation!
