"I'm Super Proud"

Jamie Foxx and daughters Annalise Bishop and Corinne Fox were two of many to attend the annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards on Sunday (January 19). The event was held at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, where Jamie and his daughters showed up and out on the red carpet.

Both Annalise and Corinne exhibited different styles in the spotlight. Corinne was definitely aiming to display a more formal look. Annalise, on the other hand, mixed a bit of casualness with her look. Individuality is amazing!

Many are celebrating alongside Jamie Foxx for his stellar performance in Just Mercy. “[I’m] super proud,” Annalise told the press at this year’s SAG Awards. The youngster went on to tell her father, “You do movies all the time, but for Just Mercy, it was really special and that was like, that was one of the first times I’ve cried.”

Corinne Foxx also gave her father major props for his role in the film. “I feel like my dad is so multifaceted,” she said.

“We do our show, Beat Shazam, that’s the entertainer, life-of-the-party guy, and to see him in this role, completely transformed, the drama of it and the depth of his performance was incredible, and I love that people get to see how multifaceted he is.”

Just Mercy is the story of Bryan Stevenson (Michael B. Jordan) who works to free a wrongly condemned inmate on death row. Jamie Foxx portrays the individual on death row in this film, which is based on a true story.

Just Mercy is in theaters nationwide. Stay tuned for more celebrity father news!
