The 2018 Peter Rabbit movie based on the characters and stories by Beatrix Potter, was a big hit with fans and critics alike. Grossing $351 million at the box office, surpassing its production budget of $50 million, a sequel was top priority for Sony Pictures. And so, Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway was born and will hop into theaters this spring.
In the sequel, no matter how hard he has tried, Peter Rabbit hasn’t quite been able to shake his bad-boy rep. In search of adventure, the bad bunny decides to go outside of the garden in search of fun and frolic. Outside of the garden, Peter soon finds himself in a world where his mischief is welcomed with open arms, but when his family, risks it all to go in search of Peter, he must figure out what kind of bunny he should to be.
Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway will once again star James Corden as the voice Peter Rabbit and Domhnall Gleeson will be back as Mr. McGregor. Rose Byrne, David Oyelowo, Elizabeth Debicki, and Margot Robbie will also star in the sequel.
