MARTIN LAWRENCE, WILL SMITH BRING THEIR KIDS TO ‘BAD BOYS FOR LIFE’ PREMIERE IN LOS ANGELES

A "Lituation"

Martin Lawrence and Will Smith brought their kids to the Los Angeles premiere of Bad Boys For Life on Tuesday (January 14). The celebrity fathers took several pictures while on the red carpet with their families and other celebrities who came to support the film’s screening at TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

Martin was surrounded by his daughter who were all smiles while posing for photographers alongside their father. Will Smith’s sons, Jaden and Trey, accompanied him to the premiere. All three of the Smith men went for casual looks.

Bad Boys For Life brings a sense of nostalgia. Many fans remember the first Bad Boys film, which made its debut in 1995. Will and Martin were the police officers who used unconventional means to get the job done back then. The actors are still the cops that break down the walls of formality in the latest sequel of the franchise. Some, however, would say that Will and Martin’s characters are just more meticulous with the way that they operate.

It has been more than 20 years since a new installment of Bad Boys has graced theaters. Will Smith recently delved into why it took so long to release the latest film.

“I just didn’t want to wreck the franchise,” Smith said. “I felt like I had other sequels in my career [where I felt] like I didn’t land it. But with this one I just wanted to protect this franchise,” he added. “I wanted to make sure that the story was right, that it had something to say, that it was funny and that it deserved to be made again. Not just, ‘People like sequels, so let’s just do a sequel.'”
