In this new series, we get to see the journey of a future world leader from middle school to the White House. Diary of a Future President follows 12-year-old Cuban American Elena who will eventually become the leader of the free world.
Inspired by creator Ilana Peña’s childhood and produced by Gina Rodriguez and I Will Productions, Rodriguez directed the first episode and guest stars as President Elena.
Diary of a Future President features up-and-coming actor Tess Romero, Charlie Bushnell, who plays Bobby, Elena’s sweet and mischievous older brother, Selenis Leyva stars as Gabi, Elena and Bobby’s sharp and loving mom, and Michael Weaver plays Sam, Gabi’s new suitor.
