Khloe Kardashian works hard to co-parent well with her daughter’s father, Tristan Thompson. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star got candid about her relationship with her ex-boyfriend during a recent interview on the podcast, On Purpose with Jay Shetty.
“I want to show my daughter that it’s okay and it’s a beautiful thing to also forgive her dad,” Khloe revealed. “He’s a great person,” the KUWTK star continued. “Maybe him and I weren’t compatible or whatever [in] that way, but that’s okay. Nobody’s gonna die here, and I always want True to be surrounded by love.”
Khloe Kardashian was quite adamant about keeping positive vibes around her daughter during an interview earlier this year. The celebrity mom even went so far as to imply that True feels the energy from others.
“I know babies feel energy,” Khloe reiterated during her talk with Jay Shetty. “I just want her to always feel just bliss, as much as I can,” the KUWTK star added. “I know it’s not realistic every day, but as much as I can control it, I feel like it’s my mama-bear job to control it.”
Controlling the atmosphere is, in many ways, a personal journey. Such is the reason why Khloe works to maintain harmony despite the challenges that may arise. “It’s not easy for me,” Khloe revealed. “It would be easier for me to keep my daughter away and be like, ‘No, ’cause you hurt me,'” the celebrity mom shared.
“But he never hurt True,” Khloe admitted. “[Tristan] and I have our own relationship, and then Tristan and True have theirs,” she explained. “I will never come in-between that,” Khloe declared. “I don’t believe in that.”
