SERENA WILLIAMS AND HUSBAND ALEXIS OHANIAN COMMEMORATE DAUGHTER’S BIRTHDAY

"My Greatest Accomplishment"

Alexis Olympia turned 2-years-old this past weekend. The little one’s parents, Serena Williams and husband Alexis Ohanian Sr., commemorated.

“How has it already been two years,” Alexis asked. The celebrity father went on to say, “Happy cake day @olympiaohanian. Thank you for being the greatest thing we’ve ever done. And thank you for teaching me that every parent in the US deserves those first months with their newborn. I’m a better business leader because of it.”

Serena Williams also commemorated her daughter’s “cake day” with a sweet post. “The last 2 years have been my greatest accomplishment,” the tennis star wrote. More than 700,000 Instagram fans liked Serena’s post, which included a candid of baby Alexis Olympia shortly after her birth.

“Proud of you mama,” Ciara shared. “God is so good,” the ‘Beauty Marks’ singer concluded. La La Anthony wrote, “I love this photo.” So do we!

Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian acknowledge their daughter’s developmental stages without actually celebrating her birthday. The celebrity mom told the press last year that she and her family are Jehovah’s Witnesses and, thus, do not go all out to commemorate birthdays and holidays with parties.

“Olympia doesn’t celebrate birthdays,” Serena told media days before her daughter’s first birthday. “We’re Jehova’s Witnesses so we don’t do that,” she concluded. Williams and her husband did, however, have a party for Alexis Olympia days after the little one’s one-year milestone that was meant to serve more like a gathering of family and friends and less of an actual birthday party.

Alexis Olympia is Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian Sr.’s only child. Stay tuned for more celebrity family news!
