Happy Birthday, Laiyah Brown, who turns six years old today!
In celebration of her special day, Monica Brown and Shannon Brown threw their daughter the ultimate sleepover this past weekend.
Themed Laiyah’s “Sweet Six Sleepover”, Sunday’s celebration had everything from customized unicorn treats to tons of pink balloons and inflatable unicorns. Special guests at Laiyah’s fun bash, including Reign Rushing, Iman Shumpert Jr., and Heiress Harris, enjoyed some pool and tea party fun.

“All Lay wanted was a sleepover,” Monica told her Instagram fans. Of course, the youngster got more than a girls night out in commemoration of her special day.
“Happy ‘Sweet Six’ Birthday, Laiyah,” Monica added. “You’re the Sweetest Thing I’ve ever known,” the celebrity mom added. “Continue to be a leader that’s compassionate and caring human that respects others while requiring the same because you are so worthy.”
Shannon Brown also took to Instagram to celebrate his daughter’s birthday. “It was the 3rd of September, the day I’ll always remember, that was the day, that my daughter was BORN,” the celebrity dad wrote. Shannon continued, “It ain’t enough characters on here to express what you mean to me @laiyahbrown. I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU.” Laiyah responded to her father by writing, “Love you, Daddy.” How cute is that?

Monica and Shannon Brown have been working to maintain a healthy relationship since separating earlier this year. Monica recently expressed her desire to protect her sons and daughter from the public’s scrutiny in light of her impending divorce from Shannon.

“They’re definitely impacted,” Monica told the media. “In their minds, they’re always trying to figure it out — they’re always trying to figure out what happened, why, and what the changes may be. So for us, my main focus was to make sure that they were okay.”
