Rosa Parks is a true legend and trailblazer that has left a lasting legacy for present and future generations. On December 1, 1955, when Parks refused to give up her seat on a bus to a white passenger, her act of defiance set off a movement, becoming the spark for the Montgomery Bus Boycott.
