Shaq recently held his own non-profit event through his charitable initiative, Shaq-to-School. The back to school drive provided over 2,000 shoes and other school supplies to those in need.

“The fact that we can get shoes, backpacks, and stuff to kids who need them and put a smile on their face. That’s what it’s all about,” said O’Neal.

“Education is an important foundation for success,” added O’Neal. “Our goal is to help get kids the supplies they need so they can concentrate on their studies. Thanks to the support of my partners at Zappos and Amazon, I’m excited to reach even more kids this year through our Shaq-to-School program.”
