Father’s Day was different for Angela Simmons this year as it was the first time that she commemorated the holiday without her son’s father. The celebrity mom shared a touching tribute to her late fiance and baby’s dad, Sutton Tennyson Sr., this past weekend.

“Words will never be good enough … to fill the voids I feel for our Baby Boy,” Angela shared online. “Happy Father’s Day! You are missed,” she added. “And to anyone who has lost a father, son, brother, husband, grandfather … Stay Strong. You got this. You are not alone.”

Angela Simmons and her son, Sutton Tennyson Jr., were certainly in good company this past weekend. Angela’s father, Rev Run, took little Sutton out for a day of fun. The celebrity mom told her father and son to have a good time. Angela, however, was shocked at the amount of fun that Sutton and Rev Run has as evidenced by the loud music blasting through the speakers when the two returned.

Sutton Tennyson Sr. was fatally shot in a parking structure in Atlanta, Georgia, last November. He and Angela Simmons were engaged for several months before ending their relationship in 2017.
