Marsai Martin is setting herself apart in Hollywood, unquestionably becoming one to watch. Not only is the talented 14-year-old an outstanding actress but she is proving that she is a savvy business woman as well. Ahead of this year’s fourth annual Culture Creators brunch, that will be held on June 22nd during the BET Awards Weekend, Martin took center stage at the Los Angeles Confidential Magazine Impact Awards at The Line Hotel in Los Angeles, California.
The “Innovators and Leaders” exclusive event will recognize some of the most noted names in the industry, and of course, Martin is top on the winner’s list.
Also slated to be honored during the event are Byron Allen, Kein “Coach K” Lee, Pierre “P” Thomas, David Gross, the late Nipsey Hussle, James Lopez, among others.
Culture Creators celebrates and recognizes the achievements and contributions of African-American leaders in the community focusing on the arts, philanthropy, and more.
“We create the culture behind the scenes that the world consumes, Culture Creators founder, Joi Brown told Forbes Magazine in an interview. “Imagine if we all worked together, became narrators of our own stories, built a supportive inclusive community that made room at the table for those who are ready?”
