Kaavia James Union Wade is 7 months old! The daughter of Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade was recently filmed while accomplishing her latest development milestone: crawling. Shady Baby is growing by leaps and bounds!
Gabrielle Union could not get over her daughter’s progress. The actress took to Instagram to express her feelings about watching her daughter overcome the struggle of crawling for the first time thanks to her dad’s encouragement.
In the clip, Kaavia James cries as she works to master the art of crawling. The little one perseveres with the encouragement of her father until she reaches Dwyane Wade who holds out a hand to let his daughter know that she accomplished her goal.
“Growth isn’t always easy,” Gabrielle shared along with the footage. “There might be tears. There might be tumbles. Keep going. Hold on. We are rooting for you. We gotchu (sic),” the celebrity mom told her baby girl. “In other news, I’ve fallen in love with @dwyanewade again and again and moments like this,” Union concluded.
Kaavia James, better known as Shady Baby online, has stolen the hearts of many with her hilarious expressions. Shady Baby has only had an Instagram page for a few months. Yet, the little one has managed to garner more than 750,000 loyal subscribers.
It was just a few months ago that Kaavia hit her 500K following mark on Instagram. “500k followers and all I get is a Sharpie on an 8×10 piece of paper,” the caption underneath a candid of Dwyane Wade holding his daughter an a sign that read, “500K.” The hilarious note went on to say, “I will be taking [this] up with management.”
It was just the other week that Gabrielle Union used her hair to try to convince her daughter to crawl. “By any means necessary,” the celebrity mom mused as she flipped her hair forward and moved it from side to side. Kaavia was interested in her mom’s hair but did not crawl to get it. Now, the little one can go to practically any area in the house. They grow up so fast!
