LeBron James’ sons, Bryce and LeBron Jr., are reportedly leaving Crossroads School in Santa Monica for different pastures at Canyon School in Chatsworth, California. Basketball allegedly had a lot to do with the switch.
According to ESPN,
“LeBron James’ sons will attend Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, California, in the fall, a source with knowledge of the situation told ESPN.
Bronny James, 14, and Bryce James, 11, are moving from the Crossroads School in Santa Monica, California, to Sierra Canyon, which enrolls students from preschool to 12th grade. A source said the James family’s decision was motivated by basketball.”
It was just last year that LeBron James Jr. announced his plans to attend and play basketball at Crossroads School. The decision was a highly-anticipated one that came weeks after his father signed a four year, $154-million, contract with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Fans praised LeBron Jr.’s school choice at the time because of the notoriety that Shareef O’Neal, son of former NBA player Shaq, brought to Crossroads as a highly-skilled basketball player. Now, it seems that Bryce and LeBron Jr. will join the Sierra Canyon team where Scottie Pippen and Kenyon Martin’s sons have played basketball.
