Martin Lawrence and ex-wife Shamicka Gibbs-Lawrence sent their daughter, Iyanna Lawrence, off to the prom yesterday.
Shamicka took to Instagram to share some photos from the big day. She wrote, “Our Beautiful @yanni_themelaningoddess has transformed from a joyful little girl into a confident grown woman @martinlawrence. We Did Good.”
The former “Hollywood Exes” star later followed up by posting a video of her daughter before her big night out.
“Pre-Prom Stunt’n!!! When Young Black and Beautiful Connect. Our beautiful Girl @martinlawrence,” Shamicka captioned of the video.
Lawrence and Gibbs have two daughters, Iyanna Faith (born November 9, 2000) and Amara Trinity (born August 20, 2002). The former couple married in 2010 and divorced two years later citing irreconcilable differences and asking for joint legal and physical custody of their kids.
Martin also has an older daughter with former beauty queen , Patricia Southall.
