“Happy 14th to My Amazing Son,” the T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle star shared online this past Tuesday (May 21). “I love you from the depths of my soul,” Monica wrote to her son. “You are selfless and sure of yourself!! You’re in the world but not of it!! Continue to be you!”

Monica praised her oldest son for being “the coolest in my clan.” The celebrity mom also acknowledged Rocko’s “Soulja Boy lit side” that creates the ideal balance of peace and adventure. “You came into this world with a level of calm that calmed me,” Monica exclaimed. “You’ll never have to look for me… I’ll always be there.”

Monica’s trait of being present for others in her family and friends circle was a major subject during a recent episode of T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle. The ‘Angel Of Mine’ singer was in a therapy session with her mother, Marilyn Best, when she revealed her tendency to sometimes pay more attention to the needs of others all while neglecting personal necessities.
“Things in my personal life have been changing a lot, and it has not been easy,” Monica revealed. ” I’m feeling it every day,” she added. “I’ve been keeping everything to myself and I feel overwhelmed.”
Monica filed for divorce from her husband, Shannon Brown, earlier this year after nearly a decade of marriage. She has, for the most part, chosen to remain quiet about the matter, which led some to believe that Monica was putting up a facade.
“I’m everybody’s go-to, and I think it makes people think I’m pretending to be perfect when in actuality, I just don’t believe in pausing,” the singer said during her therapy session. “It’s like you pause and you get stuck,” she added.
