All of the West kids are well on their way to owning businesses in the near future if such is their desire. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West recently filed documents to trademark their newborn son Psalm West’s name, which makes the 14-day-old baby the latest in the Kardashian-Jenner clan to have a trademarked name.
According to TMZ,
“Kim Kardashian filed for trademark protection under her company so Psalm’s name can be used for hair accessories, including barrettes, bands, bows, clips, ties, ornaments, pins, scrunchies, chopsticks, twisters, and wraps.
The legal docs also include hair extensions and ornamental novelty pins.
And, it goes on …”
Kim made certain to cover as many bases as possible with Psalm West’s trademark application. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star went from the hair industry, to baby goods, to health and wellness products, to whatever else should could think of, so it seems. The celebrity mom even included personal appearances as part of her trademark application. Kim has big dreams for Psalm West!
It is important to note that every child born into the Kardashian-Jenner family within the past few years has a trademarked name. Kylie Jenner trademarked Stormi’s name back in February. She was joined by Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian who thought the idea to be a good one.
For those who do not know, a trademarked name is for more than mere formalities. An individual can start a brand under his name all while having legal rights if someone tries to hijack the line with a trademark in place.
Perhaps, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West see their children as business moguls in the near future. It certainly would not be too far-fetched to see North West’s beauty line sitting beside her mom’s KKW Beauty collection in department stores. North does, after all, love makeup and sunglasses from Kim’s brand.
The world will have to wait and see what the Kardashian-Jenner kids do in the future. Stay tuned for more Keeping Up With The Kardashians news!
