Vanessa and Kobe Bryant took time to celebrate the impending birth of their daughter via a baby shower this past weekend.
“Happy Mother’s Day @vanessabryant,” Kobe shared along with pictures from the shower. “We love you and thank you for all that you do for our family,” he added. “You are the foundation of all that we hold dear,” he concluded. Bryant also uploaded a picture of the family with his wife in the middle.
“I hope my own family looks like this,” one Instagram fan said. “A bunch of girls and my man the only man in the house.” Another of Kobe Bryant’s social media followers wrote, “One day God [is] gonna bless you with a son, my guy.”
That “day” may be sooner rather than later. Kobe recently told Ellen DeGeneres that he wouldn’t mind having another child in the near future. “I would go for a solid starting five and just have your own internal basketball team,” the former Los Angeles Lakers player shared.
Perhaps, Vanessa and Kobe Bryant will have a son in the coming years. The former NBA player’s wife certainly would not mind having a boy in the family. “Vanessa was kind of putting the pressure on me to have a boy,” Kobe shared with Ellen. “She said, ‘You can do it, you can do it!’ And then, ‘Nah, you can’t do it.'”
