Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union spent Easter 2019 with the family. The couple’s daughter, Kaavia James Union Wade, commemorated the holiday for the first time this past weekend.
The day began with a Sunday morning dance in honor of Easter. ‘Let’s Stay Together’ by Al Green was the tune that Dwyane and Kaavia choose for their daddy-daughter dance session. “She loves dancing with her Daddy,” Gabrielle Union shared online. “Daddy’s little girl,” wrote one fan in response to the cute clip.

The Wade family went for a swim and enjoyed dinner on Easter Sunday as well. “I love the Wades,” one Instagram fan doted.
Dwyane Wade officially retired from the NBA earlier this month. The Miami Heat player’s family played an intricate role in making Dwyane’s final game at American Airlines Arena special. Wade’s oldest son, Zaire, was by his father’s side as Dwyane gave an emotional pre-game speech.
“Y’all not about to make me cry before this game,” Dwyane said. “I’m thankful for this entire season,” the star athlete shared. “I thank you guys for dancing with me this year. I thank you guys for your patience this year.”
Life as a retired athlete is looking sweet for Dwyane Wade. Not only does the former Miami Heat player have an estimated net worth of $120 million, but Dwyane also has the daughter that he has, for many years, only dreamed of fathering.
“I’ve been wanting a daughter my whole life,” Wade said during a recent interview. “God didn’t give her to us until this moment, until this time, and it just was so fitting that I had an opportunity, in my career, with me carrying her [at my final game].” Dwyane was sure to tell media that he and Kaavia “dressed alike” during his final press conference as an NBA player.
Dwyane Wade is the father of three sons – Xavier, Zaire, and Zion – and one daughter. Kaavia is Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade’s only child together. Stay tuned for more celebrity baby news!
