Brooklyn Daly was born last November in a surprise labor and delivery experience. Kenya was forced to undergo an emergency C-section after doctors determined that her battle with preeclampsia, a condition often developed during pregnancy that leads to fluid retention and high blood pressure, could threaten the well-being of her unborn child.

“It was all happening so fast,” Kenya told media several weeks after giving birth. “I started crying because I got so scared. I couldn’t get a hold of Marc, I didn’t know what was going to happen,” she continued. “I just remember feeling overwhelmed with emotion. It was really tough.”

Although challenging, Kenya made it through the birthing experience with Marc by her side and is now the proud mother of a beautiful baby girl. “Kenya is savoring every moment with baby Brooklyn,” a family friend recently told Hollywood Life exclusively. “She couldn’t be happier,” the source added. “Not only is Brooklyn the most perfect baby, [but] Marc has continued to prove he’s truly her perfect partner. She feels double blessed.”
