Kenya shared the news of her joining the cast of Family Reunion with her Instagram fans this past weekend. “Nothing but love for this hilarious, talented, gracious and beautiful soul @lodivadevine,” Moore shared along with a picture of her posing onset with veteran actress Loretta Devine. “We first worked together on Waiting To Exhale, which was my first movie role,” Kenya added. “[She is] just a joy to work with,” Moore concluded.
Several RHOA cast members gave Kenya loads of support after learning of her newest venture. “Go, momma, go,” Porsha Williams shared in response to seeing the photo of Kenya and Loretta onset. Cynthia Bailey gave the candid of Kenya and Loretta together hand claps.

The series is meant to be a comedy that places the focus on free-spirited Cocoa McKellan (Mowry) who gets a dose of a culture shock when she travels from Seattle, Washington, to Columbus, Georgia, for a family reunion. M’Dear (Devine) will make sure that everyone understands and follows her rules.
