Adrienne Bosh took to Instagram to celebrate her husband who played for the NBA for 13 years before announcing his retirement several months back. “This is for everyone that has ever had a DREAM,” Adrienne wrote online the day after her husband’s monumental night.

“[While] watching our family name be lifted into the rafters, I was reminded that no dream is TOO BIG or TOO MUCH. I am so proud of my husband for many reasons, but mainly because [Chris Bosh is] proof that you CAN do hard things. You can EXCEED your goals, you CAN choose grit, you CAN follow your joy, you can MANIFEST MORE, you can stay HEART CENTERED. Why? Because you were MADE FOR THIS. Thank you to every single person that has been on this journey with us! This is for all of us.”

Chris Bosh delivered a beautiful speech during his retirement ceremony at AmericanAirlines Arena. “I’ve always been a rebounder,” the celebrity father said. Chris was not only referring to his position on the court but also to his personal life.

Bosh was hospitalized in 2016 when blood clots threatened his ability to walk. The Miami Heat player attempted to return to the court after a bit of recovery time but soon learned that the health problems he experienced were more serious than some thought. Bosh decided to go the way of retirement in February.

“I have a different mindset now because although we all do something and we get to experience things, you have to cherish it because you never know when it’s going to stop,” Bosh said of his sudden retirement from the NBA. “I was very excited the last year that I played,” he further explained.

“I felt like we had a d*mn good team,” he added. “I felt like with our style of play, we could have competed for an NBA championship. It was very important for me and my ego just to bring that team to prominence. We didn’t get that chance, I didn’t get that chance. But it’s kind of like a bittersweet thing for me when I think about that because you have to move on from what ifs. You can’t always live like that.”

Chris Bosh enjoyed his retirement ceremony and celebrated his thirty-fifth birthday this past weekend. He is the proud father of five children. Stay tuned for more celebrity family news!
