Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker are well on their way to welcoming baby number two together. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star recently told BravoTV viewers that she is progressing in her surrogacy plans.
“Well, I don’t want to tell too much, but we have moved forward and God willing,” Kandi said before trailing off. News of the RHOA star pursuing family expansion spread shortly after the extended trailer of the Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 11 trailer went public. Many were shocked to learn of Kandi and Todd’s plans to have another child since the celebrity couple kept the notion a bit of a secret. Andy Cohen, however, knew about Kandi’s wishes for another child and offered words of encouragement during a social gathering.

“I had to go through the IVF process to get my son, and I have been having some issues,” Burruss admitted during a recent interview with Busy Philipps of Busy Tonight. “And this is something we were discussing, so I felt like, you know what, why hold back? I might as well talk about it. I think it’s important to share.”
Kandi was feeling a bit subconscious about having a child via surrogate and jokingly expressed her concerns during a conversation with Andy Cohen. “I had made a comment,” Kandi shared with Busy. “I said something like, ‘I guess I’m gonna have a baby mama,’ and [Andy] said to me, ‘Don’t you ever say that because you are the mother. And to say she’s your baby’s mom is taking away from you.’ It made me feel better.”
Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker’s little one will join their son, Ace Wells Tucker, Kandi’s daughter, Riley Burruss, and Todd’s daughter, Kaela Tucker, at home. Stay tuned for more Real Housewives of Atlanta baby news!
