GENIUS FOUR-YEAR-OLD ALANNAH GEORGE NOT ONLY TAUGHT HERSELF TO READ, SHE’S MENSA’S NEWEST MEMBER

Alannah George is making a name for herself in more ways than one and it is not just because of her cute face and curls. The amazing four-year-old not only taught herself to read, she has become the UK’s second youngest Mensa member, and has achieved an IQ score of 140, putting her well past her school peers.

Alannah’s incredible IQ means that she is of “superior general intelligence.” The average adult has an IQ of 100 while Hawking and Einstein were thought to both have IQ’s of 160. As a result of her distinguished intelligence, Alannah officially became a member of Mensa. Mensa is a group where two percent of the most intelligent people in certain age groups are asked to join.

“It’s exciting and overwhelming. I want to make sure she achieves her potential and manages to perform to the best of her ability,” Alannah’s mother told The Daily Mail. “She is so young but she lives and breathes academia. It was a scary realization when we got the results about how clever she is. She is coming on leaps and bounds. She has got an aptitude for reading and can decode words herself.”

We cannot wait to see what this little genius has in store for the world. We know as she continues to grow and mature in her studies, she is definitely headed for something truly amazing!
