Ciara and Russell Wilson were on the island of St. Barts earlier this week. On Monday, the couple shared photos of their trip to the French-speaking Caribbean island and we are super jealous!
In a video uploaded to Ciara’s Instagram page, the family of four can be seen having an incredible time at the breakfast table. “Typical Breakfast,” Ciara shared. “Today’s going to be a Great Day,” she concluded. “Family goals,” one fan said. “This is what a happy family looks like,” another social media follower wrote.
Ciara and Russell Wilson’s love story is unique for more reasons than one. Not only did he come into her life during a tumultuous and unexpected time, but both she and he decided to wait until marriage for sexual intercourse.
“I really believe that when you focus on a friendship, you have the opportunity to build a strong foundation for a relationship,” Ciara said during an interview in 2017.
“Once you know you’re really great friends and you’re what we call ‘equally yoked,’ where you share the same values or the same outlook on life, it kind of sets the tone,” the singer continued. “Knowing that you’ll always have the friendship and that you can always go back to it is very important, and very powerful.”
Ciara and Russell Wilson have one daughter, Sienna Wilson, together. Ciara also has a son named Future Zahir with rapper Future.
