#Blackgirlmagic is definitely in full effect when it comes to Kayla Willis. The Georgia teen was accepted into 31 colleges in addition to being offered more than $900,000 in scholarship money.
The senior from Westlake High School in South Fulton, Georgia, went viral as the news spread about her amazing accomplishment.

Willis’ tweet has gained over 34K retweets and 150K likes. Willis also wanted to show the world that students with “average” SAT scores have nothing to worry about as she scored 1160 on her SAT with a 3.95 GPA.
Willis said in a recent interview that she wanted, “To show them that someone who made an average SAT score who has good grades – someone can make it and do that type of thing. I wanted to inspire people and show them that you can actually dream big and get to where you want to go.
So, the winner is…well, Willis has already make her choice and has accepted a full-ride scholarship to HBCU, Fisk University, in Nashville, TN and plans to major in International Business and Spanish.
