GABRIELLE UNION SAYS BABY KAAVIA ‘LOOKS LIKE DAD, [BUT HAS THE] NEGOTIATING SKILLS OF MOM’

Gabrielle Union says her and Dwyane Wade’s daughter, Kaavia James Union Wade, looks like her dad but has her negotiating skills. The celebrity mom shared all at the Women’s Cancer Research Fund’s An Unforgettable Evening Benefit Gala last Thursday (February 28).

“Baby is real. She is very real,” Gabrielle said. “Except she sees the camera and she’s like, ‘Where’s my agent? We haven’t negotiated this picture.'” Union went on to tell the press that Kaavia “looks like dad, [but has the] negotiating skills of mom.” Kaavia definitely has the shade of her mom. Has anyone else seen Kaavia’s Instagram page lately?

Gabrielle Union was honored with the Unsung Hero Award at Thursday’s ceremony. the celebrity mom’s efforts to bring about change in the area of women’s health after her friend was diagnosed with stage four cancer at the age of 32. Gabrielle’s friend did not survive. Such a tragedy further encouraged the actress to advocate for women’s health.

“All I knew is that I wanted to try to save her life or prolong her life,” Union said at Thursday night’s gala. “I just dove into the breast health work and here we are, almost 10 years after she passed away, still doing the work and still trying to educate and still trying to inspire people to be their own best advocates, and not let fear get in the way of getting the education and information that can save your life.”

Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade welcomed their daughter last November. The celebrity couple parents four kids in all.
