Mariah Carey and her kids, Monroe and Moroccan, hit the Las Vegas stage in honor of Valentine’s Day last week. The celebrity mom and her children warmed the hearts of those in attendance at “The Butterfly Returns” show at Caesars Palace on Friday (February 15).
Monroe and Moroccan ran onstage at the direction of their mom at the end of Friday’s show. The twins had microphones in their hands and appeared ready to sing the lyrics of Mariah Carey’s famed song, “Always Be My Baby.” Monroe helped her mom with the adlibs after Mariah told concert attendees that her daughter made a bracelet for her mom especially for Valentine’s Day. Moroccan was also the bold one onstage as he thanked everyone for coming out to the event. “Dem kids with mommy,” Mariah captioned underneath the pictures and video clips from Friday’s show.
Carey’s “The Butterfly Returns” show comes months after her well-received Christmas performance in Las Vegas. Friday night’s show was packed to the maximum as the singer’s “lambs” came from near and far just to see Mariah.

The Popstar, who has been on the scene for 30 years, recently reminisced on her Butterfly album while discussing new endeavors. “I really meant that album,” Mariah said of the freedom she felt when writing the lyrics for songs. “I still remember the sessions from it, and how I was living vicariously through the music, because nobody was there to tell me, ‘You can’t do this, creatively. You can’t express yourself in this way.’ I just did it. I fought for that for so long.”
Mariah Carey has two children with her ex-husband, Nick Cannon. Monroe and Moroccan celebrate their eighth birthdays in April. Mariah Carey has a new album called Caution, which is available in retail stores nationwide. Stay tuned for more celebrity mom news!
